What Do You Need To Submit?

Submit These Two Items

4. Workspace Settings

A. In the menu bar select "Window"

B. Click the ARROW to see more options

C. Click Workspaces

D. Click Basic

5.1 Fluid Brush

You will use these two tools for this assignment....

Selection Tool - To move and select brush strokes

Fluid Brush Tool - To create custom brush strokes

5.2 Brush Settings

A. Click Properties Tab

B. Select the Brush Color

C. Play with these settings!

Write Your Name

7. Add Blank Keyframe

Click on the square with the BLANK center

7.1 Turn On Onion Skin

7.1 Open Onion Settings

A. Click and HOLDDDDD on the icon

B. Click advanced settings

7.2 Onion Settings

A. Unlock the lock

B. Set the previous to 2 and next to 0

C. Set the starting opacity to 20%

8. Name

A. Use the "Add BLANK Frame" button to add a new frame. Redraw your name each time. Make 10 frames total.

9. Preview

A. Press the "Loop" button

B. Drag the blue loop edge to the end of the animation

C. Press Play to Preview

10. Export

11. Location

The folder you saved your Animate document at the beginning.... will be the location where your .gif will be saved.

Grading Rubric:

5pts Participation --> Something was submitted related to the assignment

1pt Two Files --> Both the screenshot and your .gif are submitted

1pt Loop Preview --> The loop preview is extends to all 10 keyframes in the screenshot

1pt Ten Frames --> Work is at least 10 frames long

2pts Mastery --> Work includes an additional animated element
