ALWAYS watch the first 10% of a print and check for:
Raindrops - Printhead is too close to print bed and filament can not escape
Spaghetti - Printhead is too far from print bed and filament is not sticking
Curling - The corners of a large print and peeling and crashing into printhead
USE GLUE STICK on corners for large prints that occupy <80% of the print bed but
DO NOT PUT GLUE ON THE METAL SQUARES OF THE PRINT BED
ALWAYS remove cables and print bed from printer before using scraper
Print head nozzles will gradually loose their tip, become covered in burnt plastic, and clogg. Replace nozzles as needed. See printer specific maintenance guide for directions.
Print bed is also a "consumable" and will slowly wear off its metal contacts NEEDED to level the build plate. Replace as needed.
