Make a new folder and call it '3D Printing'
Create a new document and name it LASTNAME_FISRTNAME_nameBLOCK
Save it to the 3D Printing folder!
Make sure your units are in INCHES
Sketch a rectangle on the TOP plane that is 2in by 2in
Extrude the rectangle to a height of 2 inches
Create a sketch on the surface of the object.
Make sure you select the object and NOT the orange front plane.
Using any of the sketch tool draw the first letter of your first name.
Lines must TOUCH the edges of the square!
Finish that previous sketch and create a new sketch on the next SURFACE. Repeat the same steps as above to create sketch the last letter of your name.
Use the extrude command and select the NEGATIVE SHAPES that make up the first letter. Make sure you have CUT active and pull the cutting shapes through the cube.
Repeat the cut extrude steps with the second surface.

Use the INSPECT tool
Select an edge that has not been cut
Make sure your edge shows as 2 inches in the inspector window

Click 'Utilities'
Click 'Make' in the ribbon
Select the object
Set the units to inches
Click 'OK'
Make sure your file is named correctly
Identify where YOU are SAVING YOUR FILE
Optional --> Click on the three dots to change your save location
Click 'Save', we will need to find and upload this file to a different program to 3D print
*'Slice' means to prepare your file to 3D print in a separate software
