Click 'Get Started'
Select 'North America'
Click 'Skip'
A. Click 'Clear all'
B. Select 0.4mm nozzle under the 'Bambu Lab X1 Carbon'
C. Press Submit
Select 'PLA'
Select 'Bambu Lab' and 'Generic'
Click on 'Bambu PLA Basic' and 'Generic PLA'
Check 'No' to the network plugin
Click 'Finish'
Click 'Skip this Version' to the software update dialogue
Click 'Prepare'
Click 'File'
Click 'Import'
Select 'Import 3MF.....'
Find your .stl file...
I do not know where you save your files (downloads, desktop, documents); Please do not ask me where YOU saved your own files.
Use the following print settings.
If your object has 90 degree overhangs that are unsupported. You need to enable SUPPORTS.
Only enable these settings if your part has 90 degree overhangs! (See notes above)
Click 'Slice'
Use this numbers and the print cost calculator to find out how much your print will cost if you downloaded the file from online.
Get an SD card lanyard from the 3D printing room. You can use lanyards 4,5,6,7,8, or 9 for 3D Printing.
Insert the SD card into the dongle as shown.
Insert the dongle into the computer, either side will work.
A. Click the carrot dropdown to get more options.
B. Click "Export Plate Sliced File" (This changes the button)
C. Click the button!
A. Scroll DOWN on the left side panel.
B. Find the SD Card Drive (This may be named differently on your computer)
C. Make sure your file includes YOUR NAME.
D. Click SAVE
Check that the 3D Printer is CLEAR before you start!
Insert the SD card in the 3D printer
Click on the tab at the top labeled "SD Card"
Uncheck the "timelapse" box.
Click on the filament you want to use. For example "A1" is the first filament roll.
Once you see "0%" on the screen you can REMOVE the sd card AND PUT IT BACK ON THE HOOK!!!
