2–4 players
Shuffle the deck.
10 cards each (2–3 players)
8 cards each (4 players)
Keep cards face down in a personal stack.
Take turns flipping the top card from your stack into the center pile.
If two cards in a row match category (Measuring, Power, Hand, Fastener), slap the pile.
The first person to slap must say the category.
If correct → take the pile and add it to your stack.
If wrong → give one card to each other player.
After 10–12 minutes, the player with the most cards wins.
OR first player to reach 25 cards wins.
Must name the tool instead of the category.
OR must name both tools before taking the pile.
Deal all cards evenly to 2–4 players.
Keep cards face down in a personal stack.
Everyone flips the top card from their stack at the same time.
The highest category wins all the flipped cards and adds them to their stack.
Measuring > Power > Hand > Fasteners
If there is a tie in category, flip one more card to break the tie.
(No naming required for base game.)
After 10 minutes, the player with the most cards wins.
OR first player to collect all the cards wins.
Winner must correctly name their tool to keep the cards.
If incorrect → next highest card wins.
Lay 16 cards face down in a 4x4 grid.
Place the rest of the deck nearby.
Someone flips over one card at a time.
First student to raise their hand gets a chance to answer.
Student must name the tool correctly.
If correct → take the card.
Replace the card with a new card from the deck.
Continue until time ends or all cards are gone.
The student with the most cards at the end wins.
Must name the tool and category.
2 players → 7 cards each
3–4 players → 5 cards each
Place the rest in a draw pile face down.
On your turn, ask another player:
“Do you have a ______?” (must use correct tool name).
If they have it → they give you the card.
If not → draw one card from the draw pile.
When you collect two of the same tool, lay the pair down in front of you.
Play continues clockwise.
When all pairs are made OR time ends, the player with the most pairs wins.
Must name the tool and category before laying down the pair.
2–4 players
Deal 6 cards to each player.
Place the rest of the deck face down as a draw pile.
Collect one card from each category: Measuring, Power, Hand, Fastener
Take turns clockwise.
On your turn, draw one card from the draw pile.
Keep cards in front of you if they are from a category you don’t already have in a set.
When you have one card from each category, lay down the complete set of 4.
When the deck runs out or time ends, the player with the most sets of 4 wins.
You must name each tool in the set you place down or lose the set.
2–4 players
Deal 6 cards each.
Place the rest of the deck face down.
On your turn, choose one action:
Ask another player for one specific tool (must name it).
OR trade two cards from your hand to the bottom of the deck and draw one card.
If you collect a matching pair, lay it down immediately.
Play continues clockwise.
When the draw pile runs out OR time ends, the player with the most pairs wins.
Must name the tool and category when laying down a pair.
